8/18/2022- busy day for the MFD
The Mechanicsburg Fire Department handled 4 calls for service yesterday and also provided a standby crew of 7 (5 firemen and 2 junior firefighters) for the Wellsville Fire company while they worked their carnival. While our standby crew was in Wellsville, MFD was dispatched to an auto accident where an additional 12 volunteers responded to assist. As always, thanks to our dedicated volunteers who consistently make themselves available to respond to local emergencies.
