Busy day for the MFD29! It started with a house fire on South Market Street in Borough that brought mutual aid from Co’s #37 (Navy), #23 (Upper Allen), #25 (Monroe), #30 (Hampden) and RIT #33 (New Kingstown). Crews got a quick knock on a small fire on the 2nd story porch roof while E237 took truck ops, threw ladders and vented. Other crews helped with a variety of fire ground assignments. THANKS to all mutual aid companies for your help!
Later in the day, E129 & R29 were dispatched for debris removal from a non-injury auto accident on Heinz Street. Next, E229 was hit for a transfer assignment to Perry County Co #12 as they worked a wild fire. While responding to the transfer, Perry County added E229 to the box. E229 was out for about 1.5 hours and had a manpower of 5. Final call of the day sent R29 & Truck 29 to East Main Street for a tree down.
Thanks to Dalton Peters and Nic Bixler for the use of the pictures!
