Around 3:00PM, Co 29 and 37 were dispatched for a car fire close to a structure on East Portland Street in the Borough. C129 arrived on scene and asked for the box to be upgraded to a 1st alarm assignment as he found a garage on fire. Co's 23, 30, 31 and RIT 33 responded. 2 lines were pulled off E129 to extingiush the van fire and the garage fire. All crews assisted in suppression, venting the garage, and overhaul.
