Busy 4th of July weekend for MFD

2230 and 2347hrs

Two more fires this 4th of July weekend. This time smaller in nature.

The Mechanicsburg Fire Department was dispatched to the 29-03 and 29-01 box’s for two separate outside fires, Engine 29 handled both.

First being a dumpster fire and the second being a small outside fire.

Mechanicsburg Volunteer Firefighters operated on scene for a combined 1 hour between these two incidents.

Please remember that safe firework use should always end with safe firework disposal.
