Busy Day: Two Working Fire for MFD29

Today was a busy day for the MFD. First, Truck 29 was dispatched York Box 66-11 for a house fire with entrapment on Roundtop Road in Warrington Township, York County. Truck 29's crew threw ladders and assisted with fire suppression and a very long overhaul. The Truck crew was on scene for over 5 hours.

The second call came in at 2318 hrs, the 1st Alarm assignment was sent to N Frederick Street for a house fire. Mechanicsburg Police Department arrived on scene advising the house was well involved. Chief 8 arrived on scene with fire out of every window on the second floor and in the attic, and quickly upgraded the box to a 2nd Alarm due to the size of the structure and the amount of fire present. Units arrived on scene, confirmed all occupants were accounted for, and and pulled multiple lines to attack the fire. Crews were on scene about 4 hours.
