April 14, 2024, the Mechanicsburg Fire Department was busy with several calls throughout the day including quite a few due to the storms last night.
0933hrs - The Mechanicsburg Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to the 23-04 box for a Chimney Fire in Upper Allen Township. Engine 29 and Rescue 29 responded and assisted Company 23. Upon arrival, smoke was coming from the chimney but no fire was present.
1220hrs - Our Fire Department was dispatched to a 29-01 box for an auto accident involving a motorcycle on South York Street.
Between 2030hrs and 2230hrs, the Mechanicsburg Fire Department responded to several incidents throughout the Borough for trees and wires down.
