Garage Fire In the 'Boro

The Mechanicsburg Fire Department was dispatched to the 29-04 box for a garage fire. Engine 29 made the response along with mutual aid companies. Chief 2-29 arrived to find a vehicle fire in a carport.

Engine 29 was the first arriving engine, securing their own water and placing a hoseline in service for fire attack and exposure protection. The fire was quickly extinguished. Mechanicsburg’s Volunteer Firefighters operated on scene for 2 hours.
