New Year's Eve 2019 was a historic night in the Borough of Mechanicsburg history. First, members gathered to celebrate the New Year and prepare for the Wrench Drop at the Downtown Station. Around Chief 28 and Chief 227 officially placed the Washington Fire Company #1 - Company 28 - and the Citizens Fire & Rescue #2 - Company #27 permanently out of service. Chief 29 (Hench)
placed the Mechanicsburg Fire Department - Company 29 - officially in service. After that, we rang in the New Year with the Wrench Drop Thanks to Everyone who came out to celebrate with us & here is wishing everyone a happy and safe new year! Photos can be found here at cumberlink.
