MFD on Back to Back House Fires

MFD had a busy Friday night with back-to-back residential structure fires for both Squad and Truck 29.

The first was dispatched while Squad 29’s crew was at the Wildcat football game, allowing for a quick response. Squad 29’s crew performed fire attack and searches on a bedroom fire. MFD firefighters operated on scene of this fire for just under 2 hours.

MFD also assisted EMS on a medical incident in the 29-04 box between structure fires.

The second fire of the night occurred at 0016hrs, this time for a well involved residential structure fire. Squad 29’s crew once again assisted with fire attack while Truck 29’s crew went to the roof. MFD firefighters operated on scene of this fire for 4 hours.
