The Mechanicsburg Fire Department was dispatched to the 30-02 box for a structure fire. Engine 29, Truck 29, and Utility 29 made the response along with mutual aid companies.
Engine 29 arrived simultaneously as other engines were arriving, securing a water supply from the West side of the incident and placing a hoseline in service for the initial interior fire attack. Truck 29 was the second arriving Truck Company, setting up on the Charlie Side and utilizing the aerial for overhaul. Mechanicsburg’s Volunteer Firefighters operated on scene nearly 3 hours.
