The Mechanicsburg Fire Department is proud to announce the hiring of multiple part-time firefighters to work shifts during anticipated periods of low volunteer staffing.
The Mechanicsburg Volunteer Fire Department responds to roughly 450 emergency incidents a year and has historically handled all incidents with 100% volunteer staffing. As our communities grow and evolve, so must our fire department. In hiring Part-time Firefighters, the Mechanicsburg
